Symposium A - CONCEPTS OF POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY: LATEST DEVELOPMENTS AND APPLICATIONS

In this symposium, four papers will be presented, which will present basic concepts of positive psychology, the latest developments on them as well as their applications. The first communication presents the initial results of a series of investigations, conducted in an effort to create a theoretical model for predicting well-being from adult friendship characteristics, emphasizing the role of personal values. The second paper is a presentation of a structured training program on the concept of self-compassion and attempts to answer two key questions, firstly whether self-compassion is learned and secondly what is the effect of self-compassion on well-being. The third communication will focus on the study of the relationship of positive emotions with moral and social values.
Finally, the fourth communication will present a "positive learning" program as a positive psychology intervention in schools.

Four papers will be presented at this symposium, which will focus on the application of positive psychology concepts to psychotherapy counseling and education as well as new scientific developments on them. The first communication presents a series of interventions that were used during the implementation of a psychoeducational program aimed at learning eight strategies of Enjoyment. of the qualitative method of thematic analysis. The third communication will focus on psychological flow in firefighters as a key parameter of counseling to prevent burnout. Finally, the fourth communication will present the study of the therapeutic factors that contribute to the successful outcome of the psychotherapeutic process from the client's perspective.
